MakerWorks Lab is assembling a small, highly driven intern team to work on autonomous systems, AI infrastructure, hardware prototyping, and technical media inside one of Mumbai's most ambitious independent robotics labs.

These are not conventional internships. You will work in a fast-paced engineering environment with access to serious compute, fabrication tools, mentor reviews, and projects that need real initiative.
Agentic AI focused role for training and deploying models that interact with sensors, robotics platforms, and physical environments.

The Lab
MakerWorks gives interns a rare engineering playground in Mumbai: advanced compute, fabrication tools, electronics inventory, and a working lab environment near Oberoi Mall, Malad East.
NVIDIA 5090 GPU training build with RYZEN 9950X3D, Mac Minis, 43-inch displays, and close to ₹10L invested in compute.
Bambu Lab P1S 3D printer, scroll saw, power supply, bench drill, electronics bench, fabrication tools, and components worth ₹15-20L.
Prime Malad East location near Oberoi Mall, around 100m from Dindoshi Metro Station on Western Express Highway.
A focused lab environment built for roughly 10-20 people, where interns can get hands-on access instead of watching from the sidelines.
Mentorship
Interns work with a hands-on leadership team across AI research, full-stack systems, robotics integration, fabrication, and mechanical prototyping.
IIT Kharagpur. AI researcher and engineer working on language models, computer vision, and physical AI systems.
NIT Silchar. Full-stack AI and systems engineer working across infrastructure, hardware integration, and scalable systems.
Hardware fabrication and workshop specialist with extensive experience in rapid prototyping, electronics assembly, and mechanical systems.
Project reviews, build guidance, mentor feedback, and real responsibility across ambitious engineering initiatives.
Who Should Apply
This is best for students who prototype outside school or college, care about hard technical problems, and are willing to work intensely while learning fast.
